Location: Pastoral Center, 15 N. 7th Street, Camden
Responsibilities: The Call Center Operator will be responsible for responding to incoming telephonic and electronic requests for services in the Call Center of the Home and Parish Healthcare Services Department of the Diocese of Camden. The Operator will utilize listening skills and questioning to develop rapport with the caller and assess need for health care, social or other related services. The Call Center Operator will access appropriate resource information and effectively communicate information to the caller. The Operator will work closely with other team members and facilitate referrals to community based Care Coordinators and others. Maintain timely documentation of calls and confidentiality of caller information.
Requirements: High School Diploma, College Degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience in call center, customer service, intake, telephone sales, care coordination, advocacy or other related field. (Health care or social services preferred) Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, technical and listening skills. Demonstrated skills in customer service, developing rapport and problem solving. Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and phone, with high professionalism. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish), but not required.
